The Monza Grand Prix is a speed car race held in Italy. It is one of the oldest Grand Prix races, with its first edition held in 1921. The Italian Grand Prix has been part of Formula 1 since its inception in 1950, being the third permanent race track in the existence of Formula 1 and, together with the British Grand Prix, the only ones that have been on the calendar every year. All but five editions of the Italian Grand Prix have been held in Monza, an autodrome built in 1922 specifically to host the race.
